NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Friends of the Northborough Library is collecting donations to support libraries damaged by Hurricane Sandy in October.
So far, the group has collected $107, which will be sent to the Rebuilding New Jersey’s Libraries Fund with the NJ Library Association.
“Although libraries are a small portion of any town’s budget and account for only a tiny fraction of the damage done by the storm, they are vital to the life an any community,” Friends member Ellen Church said in an email to The Daily Voice.
