STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Staten Island Interfaith Disaster Response Network is seeking signatures for a letter to politicians asking for extensions of Hurricane Sandy relief deadlines. The letter, which will be distributed to Staten Island, city, state and federal officials, was used as the basis for comments by network representatives at a City Council public hearing on the City’s Response to Sandy on Wednesday in Manhattan.
