NEW YORK (WABC) —
The Transport Workers Union Local 100 has thrown the latest jab in what could become a major battle between the MTA and transit workers. The union handed out flyers accusing the agency, in a very public way, of choosing efficiency over the lives of its riders. The union wants its subway operators to slow trains as they enter stations following two recent incidents where New York City riders were pushed in front of oncoming trains.
